This suit gives the impression that Isaac succumbed to severe isolation while trying to survive the horrors of the USG Ishimura. His helmet sports two hands mimicking the appearance of antlers and he even carries a necromorph head on his back! The Lone Survivor Suit has Isaac decorating his RIG suit with various appendages from human and necromorph remains. If you want to roleplay an Isaac Clarke who is fighting against the Marker despite being infected himself, then you’ll want the Infested Suit. You can see ribs sticking out of his back and how his Kinesis module is grafted onto his flesh. The Infested suit will provide the appearance of Isaac Clarke being reanimated with bones sticking out, a chunk of his torso missing, and entrails all over the place. The armor plating on this suit are a much more red shadow of bronze like in the original and this makes a great suit for those feeling nostalgic. This suit is included with the game by default as an homage to the original game from 2008 with “DS-08” being an acronym for “Dead Space 2008”. This suit caught me by surprise as I was unaware this would be a thing in the remake. In fact, the first Suit update, the Level 2 Suit, is available for purchase in the same first Store that you visit at the end of Chapter 1. The actual Suit Upgrade is purchased from the Store.
